The homeowner was not happy with her original master bathroom. The shower was too small and starting to leak, the whirlpool tub didn't work, and she didn't like the cabinets or the floor.
After going over the client's needs and goals, we made the following changes: fixed several safety concerns, increased functionality and organization of the room, made the shower larger and more comfortable, made the room warmer for a spa-like feel in the winter through heated floors and warm earthy tones, and implemented interesting elements to reflect the homeowner's personal style.
Special elements include: heated floors, coffee maker conveniently tucked into the vanity cabinet on the countertop, mosaic tile backsplash over vanity repeated in shower and tub detail, curving countertop with stepped cabinet detail, stained glass detail in wall separating toilet area from vanity, and a larger shower with custom tile and shower seat that works around existing plumbing and mechanicals.
