The homeowners were initially attracted to this 1970's home for the beautiful backyard.  However, they knew that the outdated layout and sylistic aspects of the interior would need extensive work.  When the homeowners visited Kresge Contracting, they had some rough ideas of what they wanted, but we took the time to work through the final design and details to settle the final look.

The boxy first floor was drastically changed when walls were removed, doorways opened up or moved and windows shifted in the kitchen for a complete re-design.  Special features include:

• two variations of quartz countertop
• one with a double-thick edge profile that mirrors the horizontal lines in the backsplash
• island angled at 45 degrees with a unique, geometric support and corbel system
• a custom built-in cabinet pantry with a furniture piece feel
• and a dark finished oak flooring for dramatic contract to the bleached maple cabinets and stainless steel appliances.
