Before:
The homeowners had been living in their cramped, dark ranch home for a number of years and they wanted of a light, open space. Their home had multiple, closed off rooms with a maze like feel. This ranch home had a lot of potential, but needed a comprehensive update.
After:
The clients love nature, so we created a natural feel combined with traditional theme. To begin the renovation, we removed the walls dividing the living room, kitchen and entryway in order to open up the space. We also redesigned the entire floor plan, adding a peninsula in the kitchen so clients had an eating area and could spend time together while cooking and cleaning up. We removed soffits and replaced cabinets with a natural cherry pecan. The homeowners requested an inviting view when guests entered the house, so we created a furniture-style piece at the foot of the peninsula for display items. The lighting package was especially important and included recessed can lights, decorative pendants over the peninsula, a new range hood w/ lights, and a new chandelier over dining table.
